Natalie Portman was on hand for the Hollywood Foreign Press Asscociation Cocktail Party in Venice, Italy on Thursday night (September 2).

Held at Style Lounge, the 29-year-old actress was decked out in a purple Jason Wu frock as she joined her “Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky while promoting their movie during the 67th Venice Film Festival.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Portman helped to premiere “Black Swan” the previous day – with Natalie and the movie getting quite the warm reception.

Natalie Portman and ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal come out to support the Hungry In America Project held at Colicchio & Sons Restaurant in New York City on Sunday night (February 21).

The event was hosted by The Feed Foundation, which addresses the issue of hunger in America.

The Hungry in America Project is a multimedia awareness campaign to end hunger in the United States, centered around a documentary of the same name.

Natalie Portman was all smiles for the cameras at the launch party for the fourth issue of The Last Magazine in New York City yesterday (February 17). The day before, she was spotted at the Rodarte Fall 2010 Fashion Show, taking in the collection from the front row.
Meanwhile, Natalie’s agent has denied rumors that she is all set to play the lead in the remake of My Fair Lady.
Natalie has her eye on Broadway, hoping to return to the stage once again. But she says the soaring cost of ticket prices has affected Broaddway badly, telling the New York Post “It’s gotten so expensive that the audiences you get aren’t up for something experimental.”

The first set photos of Natalie Portman from Darren Aronofsky’s The Black Swan have been discovered online at Accidental Sexiness. The film, which is currently filming in New York City (the scene pictured took place in Lincoln Center), is a supernatural drama set in the world of New York City Ballet.
