The I Kissed A Girl singer revealed her new inking as she performed new single California Gurls in a skin-tight PVC dress at a car launch party in New York City.

Dancing on the bonnet of a car to promote the new Volkswagen 2011 Jetta, she threw her arms in the air revealing the tattoo on the inside of her right arm.

It seems this was a move to show of her commitment to the comedian as this month Russell showed off a matching inking on the front cover of Rolling Stones magazine.

The tattoo is a Sanskrit reading Anuugacchati Pravaha which is translated to mean Go With The Flow.

Katy and Russell are famed for their laid back attitude. They haven’t revealed their wedding plans for later this year yet but have hinted that they would like a naked wedding.

Katy Perry was the headlining singer at the lesbian-themed 2009 Dinah Shore Weekend that will run from April 1st to 5th at Club Skirts. Katy was busy with her tour dates, but still found the time to come attend this event. She walked the red carpet in a very low-cut and short black dress, and a silver jacket thingy that was so suited to her quirky fashion sense.

Actress Zooey Deschanel says she’s sick of people mistaking her for Katy. The two do look very similar, but it annoys Deschanel when people think she’s Katy. She told MTV, “It’s a little bit annoying, to be totally blunt. The only similarity that we have is that we look a little bit alike. I have met her before. She seems like a nice person. I’m happy that she’s famous enough now that she’s not going out and being mistaken for me.
“I used to get, ‘I heard you were out at such-and-such club drinking whiskey!’ (when) I was at home watching TV. I think we lead very different lives. At some point I feel like this will stop being a thing. I like the way my life goes. It’s sort of strange to be associated with someone that’s doing such different stuff than me. It’s weird.”

She’s looking very pretty in these photos, and I totally LOVE her hairstyle and the pink spots on her cheeks! Katy is a quirky trendsetter when it comes to her fashion sense. Her dress fits her well and shows off those fine curves. Her eyes look mesmerisingly beautiful.

Katy was the host of the party, which celebrated the official opening of the Bondi Blonde Style Mansion. Her parents were also present at the party, as were celebs Brigitte Neilson, Brandon Davis and Aaron Carter. Katy was also gracious enough to pose for photos with fans and sign autographs.
