Hilary Duff was in Toronto recently to promote the Canadian launch of the charitable organization Blessings in a Backpack that has so far served only American children. It is good to see the charity program reaching out to under-privileged children outside the US. According to their website, “This unique program is designed to feed elementary school children who qualify for the federal free and reduced meal program and may not have any or enough food on the weekends. Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed to the success of this program.” The program currently feeds over 10,000 children all over America.

Hilary was looking drop-dead gorgeous as she stepped out of the car and entered the building where the event was being held. She wore black stockings and knee-high boots, showing off her lovely legs. She posed with some members of the charity and with some under-privileged children. This is definitely one of the sweetest things Hilary has done in recent times. Her fans will only love her more for this.

Now that the Academy Awards are over, it’s time for the fabulous after-parties. One of the biggest was the “Night To Make A Difference” party held in Beverly Hills, which had a cause to promote as well. For every star in attendance, the organizers have promised to plant a tree. This party is probably the first of its kind during Oscar season. Going green is all the rage these days.
The event was hosted by Leeza Gibbons, Olivia Newton-John (of “Grease” fame) and David Foster.

Among Hilary’s upcoming projects is a guest appearance in friend Jennifer Love Hewitt’s show “Ghost Whisperer”. Hilary has revealed that in the show she will play a woman haunted by a dead lover.

Hilary Duff was out grocery shopping at retailer Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles, Feb. 20th. The pop princess was seen pushing a trolley filled with natural vegetables and talking into her cell phone. She finally loaded the stuff into her car and left.
It’s good to see Hilary eating healthy and staying away from the junk food teenagers everywhere eat. But of course you have to take your vegetables if you want to maintain the killer bods that Hilary and her sister Haylie possess.

Hilary Duff showed up in a lovely form-fitting red dress at the DKNY Fashion Show during the larger Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City yesterday. This time around, she only watched the show from the show from the sidelines. Just a few days ago, Hilary announced that she would be launching her own line of Jeans in collaboration with DKNY to be called “Femme”.

Hilary also walked the ramp two days before in another red dress, this one from Donna Karan. The show had a charitable cause, namely to raise awareness of heart disease. Hilary Duff was spotted buying coffee at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf restaurant amid a mild drizzle in Sherman Oaks, Feb. 6th. Although very dressed down in sweatshirts and gym pants, she was still looking hot, even while holding that umbrella.

Dunaway and Hilary have recently traded tough words over her casting, when Dunaway expressed her disapproval by saying was not a “real actress”. Hilary has in turn hit back by saying that no one in this generation knew who Dunaway was, so it wouldn’t matter to them as long as they got to see Hilary. I guess Hilary proved she doesn’t take garbage from anyone, not even from a much-senior Oscar nominated actress like Dunaway.

Hilary & Mike are on a vacation. On that day they went to Atlantis, Paradise Island where they attended an event, went to a resort and went to a casino.
