Emmanuelle Grey “Emmy” Rossum is an American actress and singer-songwriter. She first starred in a string of movies including Songcatcher (2000), An American Rhapsody (2001) and Passionada (2002). Her role in Mystic River (2003) garnered her wider fame. She then starred in the blockbuster film The Day After Tomorrow (2004) and The Phantom of the Opera (2004) for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe. She has since starred in Poseidon (2006), Dragonball: Evolution (2009) and Dare (2009).

Emmy Rossum stars as Bulma in 20th Century Fox’s “Dragonball Evolution” (2009). Emmy Rossum most recently starred as Jennifer Ramsey in Wolfgang Peterson’s “Poseidon” (2006).

Emmy Rossum began her theatrical career at the age of seven when she was chosen to join the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center as a member of the Children’s Chorus. Emmy Rossum studied classical vocal technique and stagecraft there while performing in over twenty different operas in five languages.

“Race” is the riveting new play by America’s foremost playwright, Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner David Mamet (“Glengarry Glen Ross,” “Speed-the-Plow,” “American Buffalo,” “November”). Emmy Rossum showed off a lot of long legs and a lot of thighs for her fans at the Tokyo premiere of “Dragonball Evolution”. The gorgeous starlet wore an equally gorgeous deep-blue short strapless dress that is definitely her most daring outfit to date. It’s good to see that Emmy is following the path of Monica Bellucci. She walked down the red carpet, waving to fans and posing for photographers. Later she posed with co-stars Justin Chatwin and Chow-Yun Fat the rest of the cast and crew in front of a giant poster of the film.

The story centers around a young boy who must collect seven Dragon balls as per his grandfather’s last wish. Justin Chatwin plays the lead character Goku.
The film will hit theaters nationwide on April 8.

Emmy Rossum arrived at the Incheon International Airport, Seoul, February 17. I uploaded some candids of her at the airport.

After visiting New York City for Fashion Week, Emmy Rossum turned up in Seoul, South Korea on Wednesday for movie promotion.

It’s great that she was looking so charming and fresh after such a long journey. She is now promoting her new film “Dragonball Evolution.”

She was wearing a lovely black dress with perfectly matching white top, holding hands with two people I could not identify. Emmy has been a personal favorite of mine since watching “The Phantom of the Opera”.

Emmy is the official spokesperson for PiNKiTUDE, which is a charity that shares breast health messages with young women all over the world. She also currently Columbia University. Very cute AND smart, we can’t ask for a better combination.
