Eliza Dushku made an appearance at the amfAR New York Gala to kick off the Fall 2010 Fashion Week in New York yesterday (February 10). Dressed in a sexy low-cut sleeveless dress, she smiled for photographers on the red carpet as she made her entrance. The event to formally kick off Fashion Week drew a host of A-list stars, including performances by Lady Gaga and Rufus Wainwright, and presentations by Meryl Streep, Mathilde Krim and Vanessa Redgrave. Natasha Richardson, Elton John, David Furnish and Yves Carcelle were among the honorees at the event.
Just the past weekend, Eliza and a couple of other stars took part in a celebrity basketball shootout and raised $170,000 for charity.

Eliza Dushku was spotted @ Spike TV’s Scream 2009, when she arrived on October 17 in LA. The show taped on Saturday, October 17 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA and will premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27 (10:00 PM-Midnight, ET/PT). The two-hour event will air in more than 100 countries worldwide.

The couple has been spotted going out together on various occasions, and Star Magazine even quoted a source as saying, “They’d been trying to play down their relationship. Meanwhile, Dollhouse has been raking up a loyal fan following, although it may lack the mass appeal of Joss Whedon’s Buffy. The complex storyline (only hinted at upto now) and confusing moral issues raised in the show is sure to make it a cult favorite.

Eliza has been basking in her new-found success as the new Joss Whedon show “Dollhouse” has been very well-received by fans and critics. The show premiered on Feb.13th, and the second episode has been aired on Feb. 20th.
And in other funny news, Eliza has told Howard Stern that she really wants to play the character of “Black Widow” in the next “Iron Man” movie, and has even launched an internet campaign to get support from fans. Do you think she will fit the role?

The plot centers around a group of people called “Dolls” who are implanted with the memories and skills of other people, while having no memories of their own. Each time after an implant, they acquire new personalities and skills. These Dolls are then rented out to various people for various tasks.
To me the plot sounds a little similar to the Jessica Alba-starrer “Dark Angel”, but let’s see how this one goes down with fans of Joss Whedon.
