Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles were spotted leaving the Le Meurice hotel in Paris, France (April 20).

The “Empire State of Mind” rapper and the “Crazy in Love” songstress were en route to the swanky L’Avenue restaurant when the paparazzi caught sight of them.

And according to director Francis Lawrence, Beyonce’s new video for “Girl (Who Rule the World)” is nothing short of spectacular.

He told press, “I just shot a Beyoncé video at the beginning of this last week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – which was fun, and I hadn’t done a video since 2009,” he told MTV. The video’s for the song ‘Girls’ – it’s off her new album. She would probably have me shot if I said anything… Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn’t happy about it, so I’ve been sworn to secrecy.”

“It’ll be big – it’ll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done. And, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable.”

The “If I Were A Boy” songstress revealed a fresh, make-up less face as she hurried to a chauffeured vehicle smiling along the way.

Doing what she can to help the relief efforts in Japan, Beyonce is lending her song “Irreplaceable” to “Songs for Japan,” a charity album that will benefit the victims of the earthquake/tsunami stricken island nation.

The double album includes modern hits and classic tracks by 38 different artists, and is available only on iTunes for $9.99, with the proceeds given the Japanese Red Cross Society.

Stepping out to support her hip-hop hubby, Beyonce Knowles was spotted at the Jay-Z concert after-party in New York City on Tuesday night (March 2).

The “If I Were A Boy” singer showed up to her hubby’s 40/40 nightclub after the “Run This Town” rapper performed at his Madison Square Garden sold-out show.

Beyonce performed at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana during the Essence Music Festival on Friday, July 3. Beyonce’s look and performance were sexy as usual, with the singer wearing a glittering golden-sequined outfit and gyrating energetically. Friday’s show scored the highest attendance for this event in 15 years, with 85,000 people showing up at the Superdome. John Legend, Ne-Yo and Salt-n-Pepa were some of the other performers. Musicians at the festival paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson, the painful thought of whose recent passing was fresh on everyone’s mind. Jackson was paid a New Orleans-style homage as a band took to the stage and played, with their heads bowed, “A Closer Walk With Thee” on trumpet, trombone and tuba. Photos of him were shown on a giant screen while a recording of his voice was played.

Beyonce arrived on the red carpet yesterday (June 28) at the Black Entertainment Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Beyonce arrived in a very short sexy multi-colored dress and flaunted a lot of legs. She also posed with some of her fellow music stars. The BET honors achievements of African-Americans in music, movies and sports. The show had undergone drastic changes in the last three days to pay tribute to Michael Jackson, who passed away a few days ago. Beyonce was one of many musicians and celebrities who showed up at the award show to pay their respects to the late pop superstar. Jamie Foxx, Beyonce and Wyclef Jean were only some of the celebrities who paid tribute to Michael in performance or in their acceptance speeches.

Beyonce was spotted enjoying a night out on the town of London, as she was seen leaving the Bungalow 8 nightclub with husband Jay-Z and sister Solange. Wearing hip-hugging blue tights and a low cut white top underneath a classy white dinner jacket, Beyonce epitomized classy sexiness like she always does. We all wish sister Solange could pick up a tip or two on how to dress from Beyonce.

Meanwhile, Beyonce has dispensed a tip on how to maintain figure like her. She told reporters, “I buy something too small and then say, ‘I have a reason.’ I need to wear these jeans or this hot dress. I look at it, and I’m like, ‘OK, I have to stay in shape.’ “

She may have caught much flak for her dress choice at this year’s Oscars, but Beyonce was sizzling hot when she took to the stage that night to perform with Hugh Jackman. The pair danced together to the song “Listen” from Beyonce’s movie “Dreamgirls”, which had been nominated for Best Original Song.
Beyonce looked very Va Va Voomy in a Moulin Rouge-esque dance outfit that showed off her impressive legs in high heels. The musical-style performance was one of the highlights of the show.

Meanwhile, the has been some controversy of the Oscar committees decision not to nominate Beyonce as co-writer of the song “Listen”, but this was actually due to some changes this year in the way nominees are selected.
Beyonce, however, has announced through her publicist that she has no ill-feelings about this issue and is very happy for the three writers who were nominated.
