Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli posed for photographers on the red carpet yesterday (May 4) at the “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Wearing a shiny silver strapless dress that barely covered her thighs, the Sports Illustrated hottie outshone most of the other guests there. Notable guests present were Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba, and the event was hosted by Justin Timberlake, Kate Moss, Marc Jacobs and Anna Wintour.

For those of you who still don’t know much about this hot beauty, she’s been modeling since she was eight months old! She’s even won the Model of the Year award in her native Israel. She’s posed for Elle, Maxim, GQ and for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue (her first time in 2007 with rock band Aerosmith.) She now has her photo in a bikini painted on the side of the Boeing 737 carrier for Southwest Airlines. We can be sure this model is going places.
