Australian swimming champion Stephanie Rice had an opportunity to glam up at a Sydney fashion event on August 18, 2009.
The Olympic gold medallist wore a satin gown and Christian Louboutin heels at the Rosemount Fashion Festival gala opening to support upcoming designer Jayson Brunsdon.
She said she was delighted to attend, adding it would be the only show she would get to over the six-day festival because she was due back in Brisbane.
“We’ve been preparing for world championships and were in Rome a couple of weeks ago so now I’m on a break which is exciting,” Rice told AAP.
“It’s good to be able to have time to do these wonderful things like I am tonight – I haven’t actually been to a fashion event like this before so this is my first time.”
Glamour Australian (Aussie) swimmer Stephanie Rice was the cover girl for FHM men’s magazine in Australia.
