You can always guarantee a room full of wall-to-wall celebrities whenever Elton John throws a party.
And the promise that his good friend Elizabeth Hurley will flash some flesh while looking her usual stunning self is pretty much a given.
The actress and her Indian textile heir husband Arun Nayar were among the guests joining Sir Elton at his Character & Cocktails Winter Ball at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last night.
Looking very glamorous in a long lilac chiffon dress and a white fur gillet, Liz couldn’t help flashing her shapely pins as she arrived at the event, which raised £550,000 for the The Elton John Aids Foundation.
But she kept her gilett on all night, even when she was out of the cold, because she said her dress was too revealing to take it off.
Although Sir Elton may have briefly inwardly cursed that he threw his party – the winter equivalent of his White Tie and Tiara Ball – on the same night as the X Factor final, he managed to score a pretty impressive turnout of guests.
