Actress Zoe Saldana, who plays Neytiri in the sci-fi block-buster “Avatar” film, has been named the newest leading lady for Avon and will launch a new fragrance with the cosmetics company. Zoe, 31, will follow in the footsteps of other Hollywood Avon reps, including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Hudson, Courtney Cox, Fergie and Patrick Dempsey.
“It means so much to me to be associated with a company that shares my values and believes in empowering women,” the actress said in a press release, which also noted that the fragrance, called Eternal Magic, “takes inspiration from the rare Princess Monaco Rose.” Zoe will also be featured in the company’s brochure as a face of Avon’s color cosmetics collection.
