Sienna Miller made an appearance at a screening of The September Issue at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art yesterday (August 19). The September Issue is a film that takes the audience behind the scenes and shows the inner working of fashion behemoth Vogue. The magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and Creative Director Grace Coddington were present at the screening. Sienna has a personal friendship with Wintour, and was there to support her friends in the fashion industry.

Director Stephen Sommers has said he didn’t let all the internet haters of Sienna deter him from hiring her for G.I. Joe. Sommers told GQ,”I can’t be bothered by all that craziness (media). I mean, people say bad things about me as well, and I know I’m a nice person. You just can’t get caught up in all that.
“She’s beautiful, she’s talented and she’s a really sweet person. Yes, she gets hammered but internet haters love to hate. That’s their deal. Sienna is a doll; completely professional, no diva behavior, a terrific actress.”
