The middle ground held sway over the Peoples Choice Awards 2010, as expected winners in every category for television, film and music claimed trophies during the live broadcast, which airs tonight with Queen Latifah as host.
Sandra Bullock continued her winning streak by claiming the favorite movie actress award, while her blockbuster, “The Proposal,” won favorite movie comedy; her male counterpart was Johnny Depp, who also earned the favorite movie actor of the decade.
The “Twilight” films captured several of the top awards, including favorite on-screen team, favorite movie and favorite franchise.
Elsewhere, Hugh Jackman and Jim Carrey were favorites for action and comedy stars. And “Inglourious Basterds” claimed favorite independent film as its own.
