Rachel Weisz premieres Paramount Pictures’ The Lovely Bones at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday (December 7) in Hollywood.
There are a few actresses whose simple existence makes the world a PopWrappier place — Rachel Weisz is one of them. On screen, off screen, on red carpets, off red carpets, that one time I gawked at her. She is always a divine distraction, what with her pale skin and ferociously dark eyebrows.
The 39-year-old actress stars in the film based on the bestselling novel by Alice Sebold, which centers on a young girl who watches over her family from heaven after being murdered. She must decide whether to seek revenge on her killer or help her family heal.
Last month, Rachel took top acting honors at London’s Evening Standard Theater Awards, winning the acting prize for playing faded southern belle Blanche Dubois in Tennessee Williams‘ A Streetcar Named Desire.
The Lovely Bones will be released to theaters on December 11, 2009.
