Nicole Kidman @ 2009 American Music Awards, Los Angeles, November 22

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were among the first to grace the red carpet at the 2009 American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The two stayed close together as they posed with Nicole’s super-straight hair blowing in the wind. They’re regulars at the country music award show scene and they’re certainly pros at looking great together.

The couple looked stunning; Nicole was decked out in a dress by Balenciaga and wore her long hair side-parted and straight. Keith is nominated for one award.

Remember when Nicole Kidman gave that quote in a recent magazine interview about how she’s explored “strange sexual fetish stuff?” It was a really shocking thing for her to say, because she never talks about her private life much. Well, in a new interview with Access Hollywood, Nicole was asked about the quote and she was very happy to be able to set the record straight. It turns out that the journalist left out the end of the quote: Nicole said she had explored all these kinky things in movies, not real life. She laughed and said she would never talk about things that personal in an interview. We have to say, this makes a lot more sense.

And on a totally different subject, she looks fabulous with her natural red hair color. Take a look:
