The day we fans have been waiting breathlessly for just got a whole lot nearer. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen had it’s world premiere at Roppongi Hills in Tokyo yesterday (June 8). The entire cast and director Michael Bay showed up to the cheer and frenzy of hundreds of Japanese fans who had gathered to catch a glimpse of them. Stars Shia LeBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and Isabel Lucas and director Michael Bay all posed together in front of a giant life-sized replica of the robot Bumblebee. They also obliged the fans lined up beside the road with autographs and pictures. Megan Fox was a show-stealer in a purple thigh-high slit Donna Karan dress that gave the lucky Japanese fans a view of her lovely leg. It appeared the dress was barely staying on her, as at one point she had to pull up She blew kisses for the cameras, and also posed with Shia LeBeouf, her leading man in the film.
Many Japanese celebrities were also present at the premiere. Lucky Japanese fans will be the first in the world to catch the film when it opens there on June 19. The film will hit U.S. theaters on June 24.
