Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson were forced to eat dog biscuits on TV during an appearance on a German gameshow.
The actors are currently promoting their new movie “Marley & Me”, appeared on variety programme Wetten, dass…? on Saturday (28Feb09) night.
Filmed at Messe Duesseldorf, Jen and Owen were greeted by the audience before taking their seats and making a bit of wager.
Owen Wilson challenged Jennifer Aniston’s claim that she could identify her each of her 28 dogs simply by hearing the sound of them lapping up water at their bowl. When Aniston was able to do so with four of her beloved pets, Wilson had to eat a doggy treat as part of the bet. Showing solidarity with Owen, Aniston herself took a nibble as well.
“Honey, we’re in this together,” Owen said, according to People. “I’ll eat one, I’m the host. And Owen, you have to eat one,” host Thomas Gottschalk said before urging Jen to take a bite. “Jennifer, you can eat it if you want, but I’d really like to be able to tell my grandkids that I ate dog biscuits with Jennifer Aniston.”
As it turned out, chowing down on doggie treats wasn’t so bad. “They’re a little dry,” Jen admitted. “I guess all German dogs love me now.”
