Hilary Duff was in Toronto recently to promote the Canadian launch of the charitable organization Blessings in a Backpack that has so far served only American children. It is good to see the charity program reaching out to under-privileged children outside the US. According to their website, “This unique program is designed to feed elementary school children who qualify for the federal free and reduced meal program and may not have any or enough food on the weekends. Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed to the success of this program.” The program currently feeds over 10,000 children all over America.

Hilary was looking drop-dead gorgeous as she stepped out of the car and entered the building where the event was being held. She wore black stockings and knee-high boots, showing off her lovely legs. She posed with some members of the charity and with some under-privileged children. This is definitely one of the sweetest things Hilary has done in recent times. Her fans will only love her more for this.
