Hilary Duff was spotted arriving at Los Angeles’ LAX yesterday (August 19). The starlet was returning from her recent charity work in Colombia for the Blessings in a Backpack scheme. Dressed in her usual tight black pants and high leather boots, Hilary added thick-rimmed glasses this time which made her look a bit older than her age. But her friendly smiles for the cameras are always refreshing when often celebrities are quite unfriendly to the paparazzi (sometimes rightly so).

Hilary was in Colombia on an invitation from Mayor Samuel Moreno of Bogota to take part in a vaccination campaign for children. While overseas, Hilary told reporters, “We’ve been working for four years feeding children over the weekends. They invited us to come here, and we got our first school in Bogota.”
Watching Hilary get so involved with such a noble cause should certainly inspire other people her age to get involved.
