Eva Longoria received $200,000 in donation from AT&T for her charity PADRES Contra El Cancer (PADRES), of which she is the national spokesperson. The organization supports children of Latino origin and their families who’ve been affected by cancer.
According to earthtimes.org, Eva had this to say on the occasion: “We are extremely grateful for AT&T’s generosity and commitment to PADRES and the Latino community,” said Longoria Parker, actress and PADRES national spokeswoman. “The money AT&T raised will help us continue supporting families coping with the devastating effects of childhood cancer.”

It’s been rumored lately that Eva is soon to lock lips with co-star Teri Hatcher in an attempt to increase ratings for their show Desperate Housewives, following the departure of Nicollette Sheridan.
