It was a splashy, over-the-top tribute paid to Michael Douglas to celebrate his illustrious career at the AFI Life Achievement Award On TV Land Prime. His father, Kirk Douglas, looked on as his son received his honors as a member of one of Tinseltown’s most distinguished acting dynasties.

His wife, the stunning Catherine Zeta-Jones was also there to honor him. She danced with the cast of “A Chorus Line” at the black tie event, showing off her considerable talents on stage.

But in that event Zeta-Jones didn’t look so good to me as she was before. May be she is growing old & loosing her beauty. Don’t know, but once I used to like her very much.

Douglas, who was honored by the American Film Institute last night in Beverly Hills, told, “Oliver Stone, who directed the first one, is back. And he’s sworn me, all of us, to secrecy.” Douglas joked, “As a matter of fact, if you get to see the script before I do, let me know.”

Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Kathleen Turner, Jane Seymour, Matthew McConaughey and other Hollywood stars headed to the Sony Studios in Los Angeles for a special dinner to honor actor Michael Douglas.
