Golden Globe nominee and current EW cover girl Anna Kendrick was another guest at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards, and received the “Rising Star Award” for her work in Up In The Air.
Anna Kendrick was wearing a strapless dress by J. Mendel. I think that the dress is surprisingly cute, but it is one of those dresses that made me do a double take. At first glance I did not want to like it because it seems frock-like, and almost matronly. But giving it a second glance, it looks like a fun vintage dress with some cool details. I think Anna pulls the dress off really nicely, and looks really cute.
