A couple of weeks ago it was announced that Joshua Jackson would be starring in Matthew Gratzner’s big screen adaptation of UFO, originally a 70′s British sci-fi television series. Gratzner revealed to Forbidden Planet that Ali Larter is being considered for the lead female role.

“For the character of Virginia Lake we’ve talked to Ali Larter, who’s very interested.” Gratzner told them. “I’ve actually met with her, and I think she would be a great addition to the picture. Lake is very strong and obviously also very feminine, and Ali Larter definitely encompasses that.” Larter recently appeared in Resident Evil: Extinction and Obsessed last year.
