Pairing up for a swanky night on the town, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attended the UNICEF Ball held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday (December 10).

The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star couple mingled with a guest list including Matt Damon, Muhammad Ali, Bruce Willis and George Clooney – as the A-List guests turned up to honor producer Jerry Weintraub.

The glamour couple gave a combined 6.8 million dollars to charity in 2008. According to the 2008 tax return for the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, the amount was more than double what the Hollywood couple gave in 2007. The biggest recipients were Global Health with 2 million dollars, Human Rights Watch with 1 million dollars and Pitt’s Hurricane Katrina charity, the Make it Right Foundation, with 1 million dollars.

This weekend in Los Angeles, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie attended a special gala at the Museum of Contemporary Art which had a guest list of approximately 1000 people. They stayed classic in black at the private viewing of the MOCA NEW 30th anniversary exhibition.

Angie, 34, wore a strapless Armani Prive gown and accessorized with an Asprey ring. Brad, 45, stay loyal to his designer pal in Tom Ford.

Angelina Jolie, who spoke at a ceremony honoring refugees at the National Geographic Society headquarters in Washington, D.C, says that she never realized just how lucky and privalaged she was when she was growing up, and she doesn’t want to her raise her children that way. Jolie, who has six children (Maddox, 7, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11 months) with her partner Brad Pitt says that she is going to raise her children differently.

The powerful speech made by Angelina Jolie in Washington launched many activities surrounding World Refugee Day. While Angelina Jolie gave her speech live feeds took place and multiple screens around the room. The live feeds were of UNHCR’s staff members speaking with refugees at the Djabal refugee camp in eastern Chad.

The actress told NBC’s Ann Curry that, “I hope if I raise them with a more accurate view of the world than I was raised with, then they will naturally be better people. ” She added, “And I’m sure my children will be visiting and learning from refugees in the future.”

Part history, part memoir, the book provides a compass for how the United States can apply the lessons learned from the two Iraq wars so that it is better positioned to put into practice what worked and to avoid repeating what so clearly did not.

Angelina Jolie was captured in handcuffs on the set of her latest spy flick Salt in New York City yesterday. The actress looked like she had just escaped a pile of rubble and was flanked by actors portraying New York’s finest.

The 33-year-old actress donned her brunette wig, running through her arrest scenes while waving to paparazzi during a break in the action.

ANGELINA JOLIE’s first movie role in a forgotten 1982 comedy is set for release – 17 years after it was made. Jolie was just four when she appeared alongside her actor father Jon Voight in cult Shampoo and Being There director Hal Ashby’s Lookin’ To Get Out, but her part was cut and the film only had a limited release.

A source said: “Angelina has told Brad she needs her space. She is a fiercely independent person and needs time alone to feel sane and happy.”

The Royal Family of Hollywood, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived on the red carpet for the 81st Annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday. Brad was looking very handsome in his Tom Ford tuxedo and newly-grown goatie. And I personally really like his new choppy haircut.
The first thing you notice about Angelina (OK maybe not the first thing!) is the pair of bright green earrings. They’re glowing like they’re battery-powered. Angelina’s sexy gown is by Elie Saab, and the top portion looks elegantly in the shape of a heart.
